Welcome to recuiting. Possibly the most nerve racking part for most computer science majors, but not for us, because we have a plan.

Let me make it clear. Graduating with a degree in computer science is not enough for finding a full time job in todays markets. Internships are a tried and true method for employers to verify that a candidate is skilled enough to be a worthy new hire. Having internships is a must.

You as a current student should be making every effort to find and apply to jobs. This means racking up 100-400 applications every recruiting season throughout college. But how do we go about this? That is what this notion document is for. I have formulated this just for V1 so that we can build a pipeline of our members into these big companies and build a network that is stronger than ever!

Just to preface everyone recruiting for internship must recruit as a junior. This means that if you are a sophomore or a freshmen looking for an internship, lie and say you are a junior. If you do not do you will heavily restrict the amount of companies that you will be able to obtain an interview from.

Before we really get going please review this document below and make sure you have an understanding of a generic interview timeline.
